| Police have been questioning MK Zehava
Gal-On (Meretz) after a complaint was filed against her by Ofer Bronstein,
her predecessor as Director General of the International Center for
Peace. The complaint maintained that once Gal-On took over, financial
irregularities began to appear. Gal-On had previously filed a similar
complaint against Bronstein. |

Zinni is due to return to the region on Thursday for a second attempt
at brokering peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians. Palestinian
officials confirm the report, but PM Ariel Sharon's spokesman Ra'anan
Gissin said that he has not been informed that Zinni was returning

may only be agreed upon in March, according to Communications Minister
Reuven Rivlin. If by the end of March the budget isn't approved by
the Knesset, new elections would be held. PM Ariel Sharon does not
have enough support to pass the proposed budget in the Knesset at
this time due to its suggested cuts of over six billion shekels. |
