morning with European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana. Solana
reportedly called for an international peace conference to be held

| A powerful explosive device was discovered
and safely detonated by soldiers at an IDF post at Gush Katif junction
this morning in the Gaza Strip. Palestinians fired at an IDF post
